Sales Executive


This is a very exciting opportunity for a candidate to take a key role in the sales team at a time when we are near complete with a EUR 10 million refurbishment at the hotel.

Main responsibilities involved are:

To assist the hotel in maximising its potential profit by ensuring the growth of corporate business.
To conduct continuous research to identify future business opportunities
To liaise with Reservations on potential corporate clients.
To keep updated files and trace cards on all regular clients.
To liaise with the Director of Sales & Marketing in implementing a structured and planned programme of sales with emphasis on the corporate market.
To increase the number of corporate accounts and productivity of existing accounts by telephone and personal sales calls.
To attend special functions, trade shows and internal promotions as directed by the Director of Sales & Marketing
To support, where required, all other activities of the Sales Department.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of one year experience and proven track record in a Sales environment in a 4/5 star hotel or similar environment. In addition to exceptional personal sales skills, a comprehensive knowledge of the industry’s key players and markets is essential. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a good IT knowledge.

Sous Chef


Working alongside the Head Chef of the hotel and assisting to manage a team of 25, you will have a proven track record in 3 and 4 star hotels, working in a very busy kitchen environment and catering for large numbers within a banqueting, fine dining and gourmet bar food environment. With the ability to take on all of the responsibilities of the Head Chef as required in a four star delux hotel, in his absence.

Detailed knowledge of HACCP is required. Previous training experience is an advantage.

Third level qualifications are required.

Chef De Partie
 

We are currently recruiting for a Chef De Partie for our Bars kitchen. Suitable candidates will have at 2 years hotel kitchen experience. Third level qualification is an advantage. Working knowledge of HACCP is required.

Applicant must be willing to work mornings and weekends.

Senior Chef De Partie


We are currently recruiting for a Senior Chef De Partie for our Steak and seafood restaurant, Fahrenheit Grill. Suitable candidates will have at 2 years hotel kitchen and fine dining experience. Third level qualification is an advantage. Working knowledge of HACCP is required.

You must be willing to work evenings and weekends.

Waiting Staff


This is an exciting time for the Castle - we are in the middle of a major refurbishment and there are a lot of changes going on!

We are looking for very friendly, highly skilled and professional waiting staff to join our existing team in the restaurant. Successful candidates must at least 1 years previous experience in a 4 or 5 star environment.

Kitchen Porters


We require Kitchen Porters for our busy Kitchen areas.

Duties involve:
helping with the preparation of the food
serving food
dish washing
might involve cleaning duties

Requirements:
Minimum 4 to 6 months experience in a similar role

Assistant Bars Manager


Responsible for: Assisting the Bars Manager to manage very busy bars along with the bars team.

Main Duties:
Carry out all day to day operations of the Bars and Lounges smoothly and efficiently. Ensure standards, guest satisfaction and expectations are met or exceeded at all times. Maximise profitability ensuring revenue is optimised.

In conjunction with the Bars Manger, ensure the day-to-day operations are carried out in line with department and Hotel standards. Ensure 100% quality service to guests at all times. Ensure bar is run in accordance with statutory, health and safety requirements.

Ensure that a friendly and professional manner maintained by the team at all times

Essential Skills:
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years Bars Supervisory experience.

Knowledge of HACCP regulations is essential and knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation is an advantage.

Flexible attitude towards working hours is required. Excellent inter-personal skills. Proven track record of excellent people management skills required.


Front Office Manager


Responsible for a strong reception and reservation team, you will be an organised and approachable person capable of dealing with and managing a very busy environment. 3 years experience in a similar position is required.

Candidates must possess excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.

Uniform provided and meals on duty.


Reception Shift Leader

Candidates should have at least 1-2 years experience in a 4 star hotel on reception.

Fidelio experience is essential.

Candidates must possess excellent customer care skills and telephone manner. Shift leaders are responsible for the supervision of the reception desk, reporting to the Front Office Manager. Weekend and evening work is involved.

Strong Yield experience is a distinct advantage.
