Management Trainee Program
Our 3-year Management Trainee Program at Clontarf Castle is designed to attract individuals who wish to share in the success of the hotel, by becoming part of our dynamic management team.
The programme aims to recruit those who have successfully completed their leaving certificate and desire to progress into a Junior Hotel Management position. At the begining of each year managemennt trainees are given a proposed department rotation schedule for the year.In the first three years of the programme trainees will perform operational duties in both our food and beverage and rooms division, followed by supervisory and office roles in their fourth year..
Mentor System
Trainee’s will be allocated a mentor on their commencement, which will always be a member of the senior management team.
The appointed mentor will meet with each trainee on a regular basis, to discuss development, training and any other relevant issues that may arise.
Performance and Feedback
Trainees will participate in regular performance reviews based on feedback from departments, conducted by the human resource manager.
Assessments are also carried out at the end of each department or phase in a department.
